Automotive Artificial Intelligence (AAI) GmbH was proud to be a key industry partner in the BerDiBa consortium (Berliner Digitaler Bahnbetrieb), a pioneering project dedicated to advancing automation and digital innovation in rail transport.

The BerDiBa project brought together leading companies and research institutions to develop essential technologies for future rail operations — including driverless train systems, predictive maintenance, remote control capabilities, and AI-powered safety enhancements.

The project was funded by Berlin’s ProFIT innovation program with a total volume of €13.7 million and officially ran from October 2021 to September 2025.

Our Contribution

As a specialist in high-fidelity simulation, artificial intelligence, and virtual validation, Automotive Artificial Intelligence (AAI) GmbH contributed its expertise in simulation-based development and AI-driven decision-making systems to the BerDiBa project.
